Surviving WWI in Battlefield 1

Welcome to my post. Here I will be talking about the recent game I played named Battlefield 1. It is a first-person shooter developed by DICE, set in the dark and gritty time of World War 1. The game can be played on the Xbox One, PC, and the Playstation 4, which was where I played it on.

I got the chance to play Battlefield 1 when our dentists (our kind friends) offered to let me and my brother use their Playstation 4. We were so excited to play that we almost couldn’t wait for the loading time (which was slightly long, as expected from a game this big) to be finished and for us to be able to play. I and my brother wanted to play against each other, but sadly we discovered that the game didn’t have split-screen mode, which was usually how you play with someone next to you. Instead, we contented ourselves with passing the controller to the other whenever one of us died.

The gameplay was fun, but sometimes absurdly difficult. It was to be expected, as in World War 1 your survival rate would be quite low, thanks to all the bullets and shells and bombs going left and right. It was hard to see where the enemies were, and only by chance did we land a hit with our bolt-action rifles (which meant it was a miracle whenever we shot another player dead). All in all, Battlefield 1 was a fun experience, and I would love to be able to play it again.

Battlefield 1 is a great game, and if you enjoy playing first-person shooters (and have the money, of course), I would recommend that you try the game. It’s not for everyone, though, as the gameplay is not easy, sometimes dizzying, and bloody. That’s all for this post! Please don’t forget to leave a comment and a like down below. See you next week!
