Hello there! Sorry for not posting for a long time! Today, I will be reviewing a book named Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings. Pawn of Prophecy is a fantasy novel that is part of the Belgariad, a collection of five more books.
Long ago, so the Storyteller claimed, the evil God Torak sought dominion and drove men and Gods to war. But Belgarath the Sorcerer led men to reclaim the Orb that protected men of the West. So long as it lay at Riva, the prophecy went, men would be safe.
Pawn of Prophecy is about a young boy named Garion. He was a simple child that did not believe in magic, prophecies, and dark gods. That was until his Aunt Pol, and old Mister Wolf, dragged him on an adventure. His world has been turned upside down and all that he knew and believed were proven wrong.
I like the book because each page was full of exciting detail about places, people, and more! The book was a mixture of action, humour, adventure. I recommend it to people who love fantasy books and want to read about something new and interesting. I have already finished the sequel, and am looking forward to reading the third book. That’s all I have for this post! Goodbye!
